Polyurethane Gloss Lacquer

CORONA Polyurethane Lacquer is a high-quality, one-pack solvent-based gloss lacquer designed to provide excellent durability and long-lasting protection. This easy-to-use, high-performance coating offers a clear, non-yellowing finish that maintains its appearance over time while enhancing the surface with an attractive gloss.

The lacquer is easy to apply and provides excellent resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and impact, making it suitable for demanding environments. It is intended for use as a topcoat in atmospheric conditions and can be applied over approved primers on concrete substrates to achieve a durable and protective finish.

Polyurethane Gloss Lacquer

 

  • Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, dust, wax, and other contaminants.
  • Rub down the surface with suitable abrasive paper to obtain a smooth and even base.
  • Remove all dust and residue using a clean cloth.
  • Apply 1–2 coats of CORONA Sanding Sealer and allow each coat to dry completely.
  • Lightly sand the surface with abrasive paper after each coat of sealer.
  • Wipe the surface clean with a cloth after sanding.
  • Stir CORONA Polyurethane Gloss Lacquer thoroughly before application.
  • Apply 2–3 coats of CORONA Polyurethane Gloss Lacquer evenly on the prepared surface.
  • Allow adequate drying time between coats to achieve a smooth, durable, and high-gloss finish.

Application

Deploy skilled/experienced individuals for the application of paint. A few general instructions are given below.

The surface to be painted must be dry, clean and free from all contamination and efflorescent salts. Remove dirt, grease, and waxy material by rubbing down using a suitable abrasive paper. Apply one coat of Happilac Perfect Primer and 2-3 coats of Happilac Vivid Emulsion Plus.

Safety Instructions

When applying paint, wear appropriate eye protection.

  • Cartridge mask, wear gloves, and goggles during application or sanding
  • Provide adequate ventilation during application and drying
  • Close container tightly after each use
  • In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical advice
