Exterior Wall Putty

CORONA Wall Putty (Weather Barrier) is a 100% acrylic-based, ready-to-use exterior wall putty designed to deliver strong performance and durability. It offers excellent whiteness, good coverage, and smooth application properties, making it suitable for preparing exterior masonry surfaces.

This putty creates an even and smooth base that enhances the appearance and performance of topcoats applied over it. It is also APEO and formaldehyde free, making it a safer and more environmentally friendly choice for exterior surface preparation.

  • New, bare, old, or previously painted surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust, wax, and other contaminants.
  • Rub down the surface using abrasive paper to remove imperfections and achieve a smooth finish.
  • Brush previously painted surfaces thoroughly to remove loose paint and ensure a clean base.
  • Fill large holes and cracks using plaster of Paris or white cement, then allow it to dry completely.
  • Apply CORONA Aquas Wall Primer Sealer to seal the surface and protect it from water and salt damage.
  • Allow the primer to dry fully before proceeding to the next step.
  • Apply CORONA Wall Putty (Weather Barrier) evenly to create a smooth, uniform, and durable base for exterior topcoats.

Application

Deploy skilled/experienced individuals for the application of paint. A few general instructions are given below.

The surface to be painted must be dry, clean and free from all contamination and efflorescent salts. Remove dirt, grease, and waxy material by rubbing down using a suitable abrasive paper. Apply one coat of Happilac Perfect Primer and 2-3 coats of Happilac Vivid Emulsion Plus.

Safety Instructions

When applying paint, wear appropriate eye protection.

  • Cartridge mask, wear gloves, and goggles during application or sanding
  • Provide adequate ventilation during application and drying
  • Close container tightly after each use
  • In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical advice
